As any bride will tell you, weddings take a lot of preparation. Engagements are typically months or years long and during that time, most couples are actively preparing for their big day. As much planning and preparation as it takes to pull off a great event that is fun for everyone, it is important not to forget that all eyes will be on the bride. You will have your photo taken countless times throughout the day and you will be the center of attention from the moment the day begins until the end of the day when everyone heads home. There are few people who would not want to look their absolute best in this situation. As soon as you decide to have a wedding, you should begin taking better care of yourself and incorporating healthier behavior into your life. One of the most important changes you can make in your life to improve your appearance is exercising on the regular basis. If you lack the funds to join a gym, bring used exercise equipment into your home. For an affordable price, you can get a used treadmill or used fitness equipment, giving you a chance to work out right in the comfort of your own home.
In addition to working out, be sure you are eating right. Including plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins in your diet will help you trim down and feel your best. It also improves your skin tone and makes your hair shinier. It can be tempting when you are busy with wedding tasks to blow off healthy meals and just grab something quick. Any time the urge hits to do this, just think about how much better you will look in your dress if you make the healthy choice.
If you like to paint your nails or have a pedicure once in a blue moon in your living room, you may not be thinking about salon treatments for your wedding. If you are typically a plain Jane, there is no reason to break out of your mold completely for the wedding. However, be sure to have your hair trimmed in preparation so it stays healthy and consider having your cosmetics professionally applied for the big day. You will be the center of many pictures and you want makeup that looks natural and photographs well.
During the hustle and bustle of the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, you may have more than one late night. It is important to avoid this as often as possible. Sleep helps rejuvenate your body and it keeps you looking and feeling your best. Be sure you are getting enough sleep throughout the planning process and make absolute sure you get plenty of rest the night before your wedding. No matter how great the temptation may be to let loose and celebrate the night before you big day, you will absolutely regret it when you wake up in the morning with dull, dry skin, dark circles beneath your eyes, and a general pallor of green over your entire body.
Finally, and this is easier said than done, keep stress under control. Your life is changing and exciting things are happening, so stress can build up easily. Take time each day to meditate, practice yoga, or take a short walk. Staying stress-free may be impossible, but you can keep it under control.

Before You Get Married-Three Questions to Answer
Marriage is a very serious and sacred commitment not only with the person you love but above all with God. This is a promise that you will stick together no matter what happens. With this, you really have to be sure if you are completely prepared to live up with the commitment. Many people think divorce is the easy way out once you feel that you no longer want to stay in the marriage but this should not be the case. Divorce is a long and emotional process but you can spare yourself from this if you will be careful with your decisions. You have to be sure that the person you are with now will be the same person that you would want to spend the rest of your life with plus you also have to make sure that the timing is right. So how would you know if you are prepared to be married already? Answer first these five questions:
1. Are you financially stable? – financially stable in the sense that you have a good source of income, you already established yourself in the field you want to excel at and most important of all you feel secure in terms of financial issues. We have to be practical because life is not getting easier and if you want to start a family of your own, you have to be secure financially. You do not want to see your family with no food on the table. You want them to have the comfortable life that they deserve so if you want to get married, your bank account and wallet need to be prepared as well.
2. Are you completely committed? - having a partner for few months does not necessarily mean that you are committed to the person. Before you get married make sure that you are already 100 percent committed to the person meaning you are ready to answer his or her questions about where you came from, you are willing to go different places with him or her and most of all you are willing to take for granted other men or women no matter how attractive or interesting they are. This is the difference of marriage to simple boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, when you are married you cannot just leave the person for another because this will be a crime with the law of society and law of God as well. So before you propose to your partner ask yourself "am I fully committed to this person already?"
3. Are you in love? - last but certainly not the least you have to ask yourself if you are in love with this person. Adoring him or her is not enough reason to get married. Why? Because if you just adore the person and not completely in love with him or her the tendency is that this adoration will eventually fade away. What if the person gets fat? If you just adore his or her physique then you will lose interest with him or her once the person gets fat. However, if you are deeply in love with the person, no matter what the changes in her physical aspects you will still look at her the same way or even more, because you love him or her.
These are the questions you need to ponder on before you decide to get married. Be objective and try to answer the questions as honestly as possible because once you rush your way to marriage, you might just suffer the consequences.

The Right Wedding Gown-How To Choose
As soon as you get engaged, sometimes before, you may begin thinking about what kind of gown you want to wear at your wedding. There are a number of factors to consider when making your choice and when you are caught up in miles and miles of white satin and tulle, it can be tough to remember the practical side of things. Before you head to the salon, think about a few things concerning your wedding and make some notes so you can keep your wits about you. If you have an experienced consultant working with you, they will also help guide your decision in the right direction. Remember, your gown will more than likely require alterations, so knowing a few sewing tips can help you make the right decision. There is no use choosing a dress that needs serious changes, so consult a sewing book so you know what it possible and what will create a great deal of additional expense.
One of the most surprising factors brides must consider is the color of their dress. Most brides assume their dress will be white and there is nothing else to think about. Many dresses come in ivory, and depending on your skin tone and your family's traditions, this may be an option. What amaze many brides are the shades of white and ivory available to them. Choosing a dress is not as simple as picking white or ivory anymore! There are also color accents that can be added to dresses, creating even more options for each and every bride.
Once you have settled on a color or range of colors, you will need to pick a style of dress. This is usually fairly easy and is dictated by the wedding venue. Formal weddings require formal dresses. If you are marrying on the beach or in Las Vegas, your dress should be less formal and more fun. If you have not made any decisions about the location of your wedding, pick your dream gown and let that be guide to other choices.
After you have narrowed down the gown style, choose the silhouette within that style. You can find just about every shape and size of a gown, no matter how fancy or casual your dress. Common silhouettes include mermaid, ball gown, fit and flare, and tea length. Have a trusted friend or relative attend your gown shopping with you so they can help you determine which of these options will best suit your body type. Some gowns look great on a hanger but do not work with your body.
Finally, consider the comfort of your dress. This is often something brides ignore and they end up regretting it on their big day. Something that looks great the first five minutes you are wearing it may not turn out so well if you are in pain after an hour or two. Remember you will be wearing the dress, and walking, standing, and dancing in your dress, for the better part of an entire day. Choose a dress you love, that looks great, and that is comfortable enough to feel great.

How to Add Personal Touches to Your Wedding
As fun and romantic as most weddings can be, many of them are similar in style and schedule. Guests arrive at the location, the couple says their vow, everyone makes their way to the party site while the bridal party poses for photos, dinner is served and everyone dances away the night. While this works out well for some couples, others want to find new ways of making their event more personal. Even if you stick to the normal schedule, you can add touches to your wedding that are all your own. For instance, instead of choosing the traditional flower options for your wedding, consider carrying and decorating with silk plants or artificial plants. This works well if your wedding theme is inspired by nature or your wedding colors are green, brown or other colors found in the forest.
Another way to liven up your bouquet is by adding charms or baubles. These can be tiny messages to yourself just to remind you of your love for your new spouse or they may include the spirit of someone who was unable to attend the wedding. Many brides incorporate photos of deceased relatives into their wedding by pinning the charm to their bouquet. Other couples add photos of their beloved family pets that may not be able to make it to the wedding physically, but are nonetheless an important part of their lives.
Your ceremony is an excellent time to let your personalities shine through. Incorporate readings into the ceremony that reflect who you are as a couple. Consider going beyond Bible verses and sharing a letter the two of you exchanged or a favorite poem you both love. You may also want to pen something together in honor of the wedding you can read to your guests or have read by an officiant or a wedding guest.
If you are not the outspoken type, put together a personalized program for your guests to read during the service. This is also a lovely way to send them home with something from the wedding that reminds them of their special place in your heart. Include photos, stories and notes of thanks in your program, in addition to the usual information about who is who and how the ceremony will run. Programs are especially important if you are not abiding the traditional schedule rules and doing things a little different. The program can guide your guest so they know what to expect and where to be at a certain time.
Finally, there are plenty of creative ways to personalize your reception. Instead of or in addition to a wedding cake, put together a buffet of sweets and desserts guests can enjoy at the wedding or take home for later. A candy buffet is a great way to send people off with a great favor they will enjoy later on. You can even create a buffet in your wedding colors or based on your wedding theme. Some brides even provide milk and cookies at night’s end so guests do not go home from the happy event hungry.

Planning a Wedding
The main event in everyone’s life is their big day, their wedding where they make their lifelong vows to the partner of their choice. For most it takes a lot of time to plan, prepare and organise every single detail it can become a full time job in itself. There are so many things to organise like venues, decor, invites and catering to name a few and of course in addition to this it can cost an absolute fortune.
There are so many responsibilities and costs to deal with that it can get a little worrying however don’t let it get to you too much after all it is the biggest event of your life and should be celebrated properly. Therefore take your time and consider all options and costs, they say with any kind of event it’s the small things that can be missed and make the absolute difference. Let’s take something very unique on this point imagine you are having a vintage themed wedding this is quite a unique thing to do and not the easiest thing either. Getting you venue is probably the most important factor as it determines your decor, the amount of people you can invite and in number of ways it can also determine how the catering is handled aswell. You will need to view a number of venues before you settle on something just to ensure it meets your requirements in terms of all the factors mentioned above.
